Bright object observed over Kokomo, Indiana (1950)

Project Blue Book Case #706. On April 8, 1950, a bright object was observed over Kokomo, Indiana — an industrial city approximately 50 miles north of Indianapolis, known for its automotive and glass manufacturing. Kokomo's factories contributed to defense production, and Grissom AFB (then Bunker Hill AFB) was under development approximately 12 miles to the south. Indiana continued its steady production of Blue Book unknowns. The case was classified "Unknown."
