Project Blue Book Case #2253. On November 30, 1952, a bright object was observed over Washington, D.C. — the third Blue Book unknown from the nation's capital (joining Cases #2997 and #3750). Combined with the famous July radar events, Andrews AFB, and the Arlington and Annandale suburban cases, the greater Washington area had become one of the most UFO-active regions in the country. The case was classified "Unknown."
