On September 3, 1950, a bright object was observed over Spokane, Washington — the second Blue Book unknown from this eastern Washington city near Fairchild AFB (following Case #1331 from June 1952). Fairchild's SAC bombers made Spokane's airspace strategically significant. September 1950 was during the Korean War. The case was classified "Unknown."
