Project Blue Book Case #671. On March 20, 1950, an unidentified object was observed over Stuttgart, Arkansas — the self-proclaimed "Rice and Duck Capital of the World" in the Grand Prairie region of eastern Arkansas. Stuttgart's flat agricultural landscape of rice paddies and wetlands provided unobstructed horizons in every direction.
Stuttgart's remoteness from military installations and commercial air corridors meant that any aerial object was immediately conspicuous. The case was classified "Unknown" during the Project Grudge era.
