Project Blue Book Case #8788. On May 9, 1964, a bright object was observed over Chicago — the fifth Blue Book unknown from America's second-largest city. Five cases spanning 1951 to 1964 made Chicago one of the most persistent urban UFO locations in the database, second only to the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. The case was classified "Unknown."
