Project Blue Book Case #1664. On July 27, 1952, a bright object was observed over Wilmington, Delaware — the du Pont industrial capital, approximately 100 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. This was the very night of the second Washington radar events — the most famous UFO incident in history. Wilmington's unknown, coinciding with radar-tracked objects over the capital, was part of the wave's absolute peak. The case was classified "Unknown."
