Bright object observed over Madison — Wisconsin's university capital (1952)

Project Blue Book Case #2267. On December 9, 1952, a bright object was observed over Madison, Wisconsin — the state capital and home to the University of Wisconsin. Madison's isthmus setting between Lakes Mendota and Monona and its academic community provided educated observers. Truax Field hosted Air National Guard operations. The case was classified "Unknown."
