Project Blue Book Case #2077. On September 12, 1952, a bright object was observed near Allen, Maryland — a tiny community on the lower Eastern Shore near Salisbury. The flat Delmarva Peninsula farmland provided excellent observation conditions. Aberdeen Proving Ground and Patuxent River NAS were within the broader Chesapeake region. The case was classified "Unknown."
