Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal is the ruin of a 14th-century hunting lodge located near Karol Bagh in central Delhi. The structure, attributed to the Tughlaq dynasty, sits within the Ridge area — a forested zone that serves as Delhi's green lung. The ruins are considered one of Delhi's most haunted locations. Locals believe the lodge is inhabited by djinn and the restless spirits of those who died during the various invasions and battles that swept through Delhi over the centuries. Visitors report hearing sounds of a feast — music, laughter, and the clinking of goblets — emanating from the empty ruins at night, as though a medieval hunting party is celebrating within. Those who venture inside after dark describe sudden temperature drops, the sensation of being watched from the crumbling walls, and an overwhelming compulsion to leave. Some visitors have reported seeing a woman in medieval dress standing at the entrance who vanishes when they cross the threshold. The Delhi Ridge, a spur of the ancient Aravalli Range, is dotted with medieval ruins and has been considered spiritually significant for centuries. Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal's isolation within the forested ridge, surrounded by ancient trees and medieval masonry, makes it one of Delhi's most atmospheric haunted locations.
